WHO WE ARE
About CityLife
CityLife is a faith-based, non-profit organization in Nashville Metro created in 2020 to serve affordable multi-family housing communities in Middle Tennessee. This organization was developed by Gary Jennings as he became aware of the needs and opportunities of marginalized people living in underserved apartment communities.
Vision
“We see apartments as thriving communities where people love to live, work, grow, and serve.”
Mission
Our mission is to make apartment management the heroes to their residents. We will accomplish that by inspiring, igniting, and investing in people to build an apartment community that is thriving and sustainable.

What We Do
CityLife’s mission and vision compels us to intentionally serve and partner with apartment owners, apartment management companies and staff in creating flourishing apartment community environments for their residents.
We use a holistic approach with apartment owners, apartment management companies and staff to integrate a long-term, innovative design to serve employees and residents in building an apartment community that will be a great place to live, work, play, and serve. We accomplish that by serving as apartment chaplains and community development leaders to meet the holistic needs of their residents.
As a result, we build genuine relationships and trust with apartment staff who give us opportunities to serve and develop relationships with residents. We effectively become an amenity that makes apartment life better, enjoyable, or more productive. We eventually become a significant part of their business model by improving retention through our partnership. Transformation will occur from the inside out through hospitality, friendships, prayer, Discovery Groups, and starting simple churches.
